Welcome to Token Studio London — Where Curiosity Drives Everything. Token Studio is built on curiosity — it is the energy behind every idea, every workshop, and every detail we create. We believe creativity is for everyone, and our studio is a welcoming space where people of all skill levels can explore, play, and make something truly meaningful.

🤍 The Vision Behind Token Studio
Our name tells you exactly what we stand for: a token is something special, symbolic, and lasting — far more than just a physical object.
Our vision is to share wonderful experiences that go beyond making a simple item. We exist so couples can gather, families can bond, and friends can celebrate together — creating happy memories that stay with you long after you leave. Everything we do is designed to make sure every guest who walks through our doors feels something special happens to them here: not just a class, but a moment to treasure.
✨ What We Offer & Why Choose Token Studio
Located in our permanent home at Token Studio, Bermondsey SE1, we run a huge variety of creative sessions every single day — so there is always something new to enjoy! Our line‑up changes daily with different themes, including pottery wheel throwing, hand‑building, candle making, crystal jewellery, resin art, soap making, and much more — never just one type of craft.
With over 15 years of experience, 1,000+ five‑star Google reviews, and a team of expert instructors, we stand out because:
• 📈 We are always growing and improving! We listen closely to every guest — all feedback, questions, concerns, and suggestions (good or bad) are taken seriously and used to make every visit even better.

🍷 BYOB: What It Means & How It Works
BYOB stands for Bring Your Own Bottle or Drinks — the perfect way to relax, socialise, and celebrate while getting creative!
Q: Do I need to do anything special?
Not at all! Simply bring your favourite drinks — wine, prosecco, beer, cocktails, or soft drinks — and we provide everything else: all materials, tools, aprons, glazing, firing, and expert guidance.
💡 Quick tip: Please bring your own serving cups/glasses if possible. As a working pottery studio, fine clay dust can gather on surfaces — this small step helps keep everything clean and safe for you to enjoy.
Q: When do sessions run?
We host workshops every day of the week, with fresh themes and different styles each day — so there is always something to suit every mood, occasion, or group.

🪨 Clay, Glaze & Firing — The Natural Process Explained
Many guests ask why their finished piece looks or feels different — this is all part of the wonderful natural magic of handmade pottery!
• Why does my pot get smaller? Clay naturally shrinks 10–15% as it dries and goes through firing — this is completely normal and part of the process.
• Why do colours change? Wet clay and paint look very different before firing. Every piece is fired at 1200°C in our kiln to bring out its true colour and strength. Our technicians then hand‑apply a glossy protective finish — so the final result is often beautifully different from what you first created!
• Can items break? Handmade work is delicate, and firing involves natural processes we cannot fully control. Tiny air bubbles or subtle cracks from making can sometimes appear under heat. Please note: While we take great care, we cannot offer refunds for breakage during firing — your booking covers expert tuition, materials, and firing services, not just the final outcome. Every piece is one‑of‑a‑kind, just like you!
🎉 Private Party & Group Bookings
How do I book a private party or exclusive group session?
Most of our workshops are open public bookings — which means other guests may book into the same slot. To guarantee full privacy for your hen party, birthday, or group gathering, the easiest and fastest way is to book all available spaces for that session. This locks the entire slot just for you and your guests, with no one else joining in! For any questions about group sizes or availability, just send us a message via our WhatsApp button — we’re here to help
