By Bike: Santander Cycles docking stations are available near London Bridge station and on Bermondsey Street.

Yes, there is street parking available on Druid Street and surrounding roads in Bermondsey. The nearest tube and rail station is London Bridge, approximately a 5 minute walk from the studio. We are also easily reachable by bus from Borough, Elephant and Castle, and London Bridge.

Our booking policy exists to protect everyone â our customers just as much as our studio. Every session is carefully planned, and clear policies ensure the experience is never compromised. We have been running creative workshops for over 15 years and the vast majority of our guests have a wonderful time. Our policies exist so that when you walk through our doors, the atmosphere is positive, creative, and relaxed for everyone.

Can I reschedule my booking at Token Studio?

Yes â rescheduling is free if you do so more than 48 hours before your session. Simply use the rescheduling link in your original booking confirmation email. Bookings made within 48 hours of the session cannot be rescheduled, and last-minute urgent bookings are non-transferable. We always recommend planning your visit in advance.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book a workshop?

All bookings at Token Studio are fully paid online at the time of booking. There are no deposits â just full payment upfront, which keeps things simple for everyone.

Is there a minimum number of people required to book?

Not at all. As long as there are available spaces in a session, you are welcome to book whether you are coming solo, as a pair, or as a large group. We are happy to accommodate everyone.

Can Token Studio accommodate large groups of over 20 people?

Each regular session has a maximum capacity of 20 spaces. If your group is larger than 20, simply get in touch and we will arrange an expanded session to accommodate your whole group. We regularly host large celebrations, corporate events, and private parties.

What happens if I arrive late to a workshop at Token Studio?

Our sessions start on time and we are unable to delay the start for late arrivals. We have a 15-minute grace period, so if you arrive within 15 minutes of the start time you will still be welcomed in. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we cannot allow entry as it would disrupt the session for other guests. If you realise you will be more than 15 minutes late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help you reschedule.

When will my pottery be ready to collect?

Fired pottery pieces are ready for collection in approximately 2 weeks after your session. Each piece goes through a careful drying and kiln firing process at 1200 degrees. You will receive an email notification when your piece is ready. Please note that pieces must be collected within 60 days.

How do I collect my finished pottery from Token Studio?

Once you receive your collection notification, please book a collection appointment before coming in by emailing pickup@tokenstudio.co.uk. Include your name, the date of your session, and a photo of your piece if you have one. We manage hundreds to thousands of pieces at any time, so a pre-booked appointment ensures your pottery is prepared and waiting at reception when you arrive.

• Why does my pot get smaller? Clay naturally shrinks 10–15% as it dries and goes through firing — this is completely normal and part of the process.

• Why do colours change? Wet clay and paint look very different before firing. Every piece is fired at 1200°C in our kiln to bring out its true colour and strength. Our technicians then hand‑apply a glossy protective finish — so the final result is often beautifully different from what you first created!

• Can items break? Handmade work is delicate, and firing involves natural processes we cannot fully control. Tiny air bubbles or subtle cracks from making can sometimes appear under heat.
