Rooted in history and tradition, this craft was originally used to strengthen and decorate clothing, and today it’s loved worldwide for its clean lines, timeless style and calming process. But here at Token Studio, we’ve made it even better – keeping all the soul of the traditional craft, while adding our own fun, modern touch!

🛍️ Two ways to create – choose what suits you best!

We have two wonderful options for you, so you can make exactly what you love:

✅ Option 1: Bring your own garment
This is our most popular choice – and we love it because it’s so sustainable! Bring along any plain clothing you want to give a new lease of life: a simple shirt, linen top, denim jacket, t-shirt or light textile piece.
Please note: we recommend single-layer fabrics only – thick winter coats or double-layered items are too tricky to stitch with our techniques!
Give your favourite but plain clothes a beautiful upgrade, breathe new life into pre-loved pieces, and create something that’s totally yours. It’s creative, eco-friendly and so satisfying!

✅ Option 2: Use our studio fabrics
Don’t have something in mind? No problem at all! We provide high-quality fabrics for you to work with. In the 90-minute session, you’ll have plenty of time to learn the stitches, create a beautiful pattern, and finish a lovely small piece – perfect to turn into a coaster, a patch to sew onto a bag or jacket, or keep as a little handmade keepsake. We’ve prepared standard-sized patterns so you will definitely get your piece fully finished before you leave!

✨ Our signature twist: Traditional craft + subtle sparkle

We respect tradition deeply – but we also love to have fun and make things our own! We add just 1 or 2 tiny, carefully placed beads right at the centre of your pattern – a delicate touch that elevates classic Sashiko to something modern, trendy and extra special. It’s not over-the-top, just the perfect hint of shine to make your work stand out, while keeping all the beautiful simplicity of the original craft.

🧵 Choose, mix and match your designs

We have a huge collection of pre-made stencils and patterns ready for you to use – from classic geometric motifs to more modern designs. Pick your favourite, mix and match different styles, make them big or small – there’s no limit to what you can create! Whether you want something simple and classic or bold and unique, we’ll help you bring your idea to life.

🤎 The most relaxing experience – like ASMR in real life

This workshop is pure calm and joy! Stitching Sashiko is incredibly therapeutic – the steady rhythm, the gentle movement, the soft sound of thread gliding through fabric… It’s exactly like real-life ASMR! It’s the perfect way to switch off from the world, slow down, and lose yourself in something creative. No pressure, no rush – just you, your craft, and good vibes.

🥂 Relaxed BYOB session

Just like all our workshops, this is a bring-your-own-booze experience! Bring your favourite wine, prosecco, drinks or snacks, sit back, relax and enjoy creating with friends, family, or even on your own – it’s always such a lovely atmosphere.

⏱️ 90-minute workshop – take your creativity home with you

The session runs for 90 minutes, which is plenty of time to learn all the techniques, practice your stitches, and get your design underway.

• If you’re working on studio fabric, you’ll finish your complete piece before you leave!

• If you’re working on your own garment: you can design and stitch as much as you like in the session, and if you don’t finish it all, we’ll send you home with all the thread, needles and materials you need to carry on stitching at your own pace, whenever you like!
