TOKEN STUDIO ARCH 76 – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. BINDING AGREEMENT & LEGAL DISCLAIMER

1.1 Contract Formation:

  • By submitting a booking request or payment, you enter a legally binding contract with Token Studio Arch 76.

1.2 Third-Party Vouchers:

  • Vouchers/gift cards from external platforms (e.g., RedLetterDays) cannot be redeemed at checkout.

  • You must validate them via our [Validation Form] before your session.

  • Once submitted:

    • Non-refundable & non-transferable

    • Cannot be reissued or redeemed elsewhere

1.3 No Manual Bookings:

  • All bookings must be self-served online.

  • You are solely responsible for selecting the correct date/time/workshop.

  • We do not rectify booking errors.

2. BOOKING PROCESS

2.1 Accuracy & Errors:

  • Double-check selections before payment.

  • If you book incorrectly:
    (a) Cancel via your account (subject to fees)
    (b) Rebook correctly

2.2 Voucher Validation & Entry:

  • No validation = No entry:

    • Unvalidated vouchers or missing booking confirmations will be refused at the door.

    • Staff do not process validations onsite – use our website.

2.3 Late Arrivals:

  • Arrive 15+ minutes early for check-in.

  • 10 mins late = Entry refused (no refund).

3. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

  • Rescheduling: 48 hrs notice required (£15/person fee for peak slots).

  • No Refunds: For any reason (including booking errors).

  • Force Majeure: No liability for events beyond our control (floods, strikes, etc.).

4. SAFETY & CONDUCT

4.1 BYOB Policy:

  • Bring your own cups. BYOB events = 18+ only.

  • Unsafe/intoxicated behaviour = Immediate removal (no refund).

4.2 Minors & Pets:

  • Children only in non-BYOB sessions. Guardians assume full liability.

  • Pets prohibited (except pre-approved assistance dogs).

4.3 Studio Hazards:

  • You assume all risks (blow torches, kilns, machinery).

5. GLAZING & FIRING SERVICES

5.1 Service Scope:

  • Applies only to pieces from Ultimate Pottery Experience.

  • We: Apply transparent food-safe glaze + fire at ≈1220°C.

  • We do NOT: Repair, reshape, or modify your piece.

5.2 Inherent Risks:

  • Expected outcomes:

    • 10-15% shrinkage

    • Warping/cracking

  • Potential disasters:

    • Explosions (trapped moisture)

    • Complete destruction

    • Damage to other pieces/kilns

5.3 Critical Terms:

  • No outcome guarantee – you pay for the service, not a finished product.

  • Non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • You accept liability for damage caused by your piece.

6. ARTWORK COLLECTION

  • Pickup Window: 60 days from notification via pickup@tokenstudio.co.uk.

  • Abandoned Items: Donated to charity after 60 days (costs non-refundable).

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • We retain rights to studio photos/videos for promotion (opt-out in writing).

  • Workshop techniques are for personal use only – no commercial replication.

8. GENERAL

  • Right to Refuse Service: For non-compliance, intoxication, or safety risks.

  • Governing Law: English law, with exclusive jurisdiction in English courts.

Token Studio Arch 76 – Booking Policy

1. Safety & Studio Conduct

  • BYOB Policy:

    • Guests must bring their own cups/drinking vessels.

    • Minors (Under 18): Only permitted in non-BYOB/family sessions. BYOB events are strictly 18+. Guardians accept full responsibility for minors’ safety and behaviour.

    • Pets: Not allowed (except pre-approved assistance dogs).

  • Hazards: This is a working studio with tools, kilns, blow torches, and machinery. Guests assume all risk and must follow safety instructions. Unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.

2. Minors & Pets: Guardian Responsibility

  • Children: Guardians must actively supervise minors at all times. The studio is not childproofed (sharp tools, hot surfaces, fragile items).

  • Assistance Dogs: Must be pre-approved and remain leashed/controlled. Disruptive animals will be asked to leave.

  • Liability: By bringing minors or pets, you waive all claims against Token Studio for injury, damage, or incidents involving them.

3. Bookings, Changes & Cancellations

  • Confirmation: Bookings are final once the confirmation email is sent.

  • Third-Party Vouchers: Non-refundable and non-transferable (e.g., external gift cards).

  • Rescheduling:

    • Requires 48 hours’ notice.

    • Late changes: £15/person fee (peak slots) or forfeited ticket.

  • Refunds: All tickets/services are non-refundable, non-transferable.

  • Force Majeure: No refunds for events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, pandemics).

4. Late Arrivals & Groups

​

  • Arrival Time: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and a mandatory safety briefing.

  • Late Arrivals (>10 mins): Entry refused. No refunds or rescheduling.

  • Groups: All members must arrive on time. Partial groups cannot join mid-session.

5. Right to Refuse Service

​

        We reserve the right to deny entry or remove guests before, during and after for:

  • Disruptive/intoxicated behaviour (especially during BYOB).

  • Abusive behaviour towards any staff member in person or online.

  • Non-compliance with safety, minors, or pets policies.
    Consequence: Immediate forfeiture of tickets/fees.

6. Glazing Services & Pickup

  • Glazing: Non-refundable under any circumstances (including kiln accidents). Clients are liable for damage costs to kilns/staff’s work.

  • Pickup: Collect pieces within 60 days of notification. Email pickup@tokenstudio.co.uk to arrange.

  • Abandoned Items: Unclaimed pieces after 60 days will be donated to charity. Associated costs are non-refundable.
